Back on topic - I'm inclined to disagree with the points about muzzle loaders. The idea is there, but without proper guidance from an experienced person there's always a larger margin for error.
Point in case (and I know it's not strictly accurate to what's being discussed) a chap came to our club who had loaded his own for the first time - 30-06 triple loaded ripped his gun in half and gave him a few powder burns.
