I'm a newbie here and would like to thank all for a great site. I just aquired a '95 E300 Diesel. I just love the look, stoutness and economy of this diesel car. If this is a subject that has been beaten to death, please let me know.
Any advice on changing the fuel filter (s?), oil filter - I just changed the oil and filter, and had a couple of copper washers left over? - transimission filter & fluid?
How does the fuel filter handle water? Is there a water separator anywhere?
What type of fuel additive, if any, is recomended to use? Demulsifying or Emulsifying type?
Sorry for what probably seem somewhat simpleton questions, but I can sure use any help and advice.
