you must really check out the "normal" causes of this problem -- bad idle control valve hoses, bad boot between air flow meter horn and throttle body, OVP relay, fuel pump relay, etc.
Any air leaks between the air flow meter and intake valves (including worn valve guides!) will cause starting and idling problems on KE-Jet systems.
