You can get the spray goop at AutoZoo. 3M stuff. Think it is 03090 on the can. I have done several with the hood on the car in the service position. Did both pads on wife's 560SL, but took hood off and put it flat on sheet to get those right. Did not want to work upside down. Heck, see what your local dealer gets for the pad.
