Howdy,

I just put new Bosio BN 0 SD 265 nozzles in my 190D 2.2. You will love them. They are SOOOO much better than Bosch rebiulds, it is not funny. I'm getting approx 20% more power and fuel efficiency than with the Bosch rebuilds.

Previously, I took out the original injectors with German Bosch SD 241 nozzles and installed Bosch rebuilds with the infamous India SD 241's in them. These lasted about 1 year before I started having severe idle problems so that's when I ordered the Bosio's and installed them last week. Like I said, there is no comparison.

My experience: Rebuilding the injectors is a no brainer. I have a pop tester, but I never found any of the ones I rebuilt needing any adjustment. I'm sure that you could get picky about the pop pressure but just throwing the new nozzles in and torquing the injector bodies to spec seemed to be perfectly adequate.

My advice is that if you need new injectors, you will be satisfied with just replacing the nozzles with new Bosios. No need to spend extra $$$ on the whole injector or balancing. I would only balance them if they give you problems after the fact.

Sholin
