Hood pad…..

Buy OE. They are now only supplied with heat shield. Good quality ~ $50.

Remove all old glue residue with 3M adhesive remover. Sold in cans.

Purchases one can 3M adhesive, glue part number 8090. You can find the glue in Lowe’s for about $12.

Spray most of one can on the pad. Allow thicker coverage around edges.

With the hood vertical, line up pad and gently press along top edge, front.

Then gently press in place.

The pad can be shifted.

After adjusting pad push down all over to ensure good contact.

Close hood and go for cruise.
