I was just going over a problem related to this. It seems, from what I've been reading, that less and less availablity on non resistor plugs. You are looking at probably getting plugs now, that are recommended for the car, which are 1K resistor plugs. Since the original plug wire ends were 2K, and your new ends are 1K, you are back to 2K so hopefully all will be OK. The original plugs were non-resistors, in case you didn't figure that.
