just got done changing my oil and oil filter first time myself in my mercedes 1994 c280 (always done my own until I bought a mercedes, for the money it was nice to have a qualified mechanic look over everything and it was fun hanging out in his shop) thanks to some help from this forum. how easy! wanted to comment about the filter. I have always had them replaced with a mercedes filter 104 184 09 25. Now I replaced with a mann filter hu 727/1x. really suprised to see the mercedes filter was made in austria and the mann filter was made in germany!
Why doesn't the mercedes filter come from germany???
