Be careful in choosing a washing place!

Before I started work on my new-to-me 300D, I had the engine and underside power washed by a detail shop in Santa Rosa. They actually took it someplace else because of environmental regs -- they didn't have the proper disposal equipment. If you call around in your area you should be able to find a place.

Make sure they have experience doing this kind of a job -- I have heard that in the hands of a novice it is way too easy to squirt high-pressure water into places where it doesn't belong. Gaskets and seals are generally not guaranteed to keep out water from a pressure washer!!
