Hey I had this problem with my car recently, its a c class. Turns out, after parking my car under trees all summer, I ended up with so much junk in my cabin filter that it almost blocked off any feeling of the vents releasing anything. I could hear my motor running, but nothing was coming out of the vents. Under the DIY section of this site, their are instructions on where its located and how to give it a check. It really helped me out and I found a cabin filter that was so filthy it weighed about 10 pounds...lol. So i hope this cheap fix is the same problem you might be having.

Just a bit of confusion:
1. Press and hold the "REST" button for ~3 seconds
2. ?? Continue holding the "REST" (?) button until the display switches to "inaktiv"
3. ?? Release both (?) buttons
4. Press the passenger side (RED) to reactivate the display
5. Press the "REST" button again
In #2 did you mean the "0" (off) or "EC" button to hold as well as "REST" - This CC only has one "REST" button (see attached)
FWIW I haven't done anything with the battery - and this usually happens after we've been driving for some time (say > 1hr on the road - not right away at startup)
Thanks so much!
