There's a strong divide between people who prefer blended scotch and people who prefer single malt. Single malt scotch has a generally stronger and more variable flavor and blended scotch has a smoother, more predictable flavor.
We used to have a Scot who'd post occasionally. but he inadvertently discovered sanity and MovedOn. I though he was brilliant because his tastes in scotch, beer, and ecology matched my own. We differed politically but WGAS about trivialities?
Anyway, I like Chivas Regal okay and would not turn it down. But I'd prefer Oban, Laphroaig or Macallans. I'm one of those single malt guys.
Where's that artichoke juice?

Bhrrr....... wouldn't want to get sick, first time I've beeb drunk in a few years. Kinda feels OK though. Oh well, I'll need to put the Benz in the garage, maybe later though, wouldn't want to hit the wall.
