I have had problems getting the car to turn off. I also have had problems getting the door locks to work. I know I am getting some vacuum so i don't think it is the pump but I will be checking later today with a mityvac. I took it to my mechanic and he said it was the fuel shut off valve. I ordered one from diesel giant and replaced it and viola.....nothing turned off. I thought it might be the booster, but again, i am not having trouble getting vacuum. SO I am still opening the hood to shut it off.

What would be the next step in figuring out this problem?
