How old is the battery in your car? if your running the original battery and the battery is old and not up to the task it can cause all kinds of issues including transmission function -I've experienced it myself.

On my 1998 C-class my `bulb out` dash light came on telling me my headlight bulb went out, kind of coincidental after replying to this thread a few houre earlier.

The C-class coupes are really nice cars and do lots of cool things and when one little sensor or car battery charge drops it causes lots of little errors.

my battery is the original battery. it's been like almost 5 years.

so maybe that was the problem?

what kind of battery should i buy? how much is it? where can i buy it from? is there anything i need to know when i change the battery?
i read somewhere says when change the battery. you have to follow the steps or the ESP or whatever will come on after you change ?

where can i find out how tos?

Again. Thank you very much for the help!!!!
