If the price is right, it's a great thing to have along with the car.

There was a Judson steup with oiler, hardware and pulleys on ePray a few months ago. Opening bid was $1500, and no one bid.

I was tempted to bid on it for my '61 190SL, but I figure that the poor motor only has three main bearings, so why tempt fate. I have also read that detonation is a issue with the Judsons, causing holed pistons.

Don't get me wrong, I would still love to have a Judson just because, but I don't know if I would go through all of the modifications needed to properly hook one up. 190SL models have enough issues with brakes and the Solex carbs. IMHO.
