The transmission takes a bit of time to get used to in the 210. The 722.6x is not as communicative as the late 722.3x. For instance, the upshifts lag by about a second each so if you are WOT to 45 mph,and then let off gradually or not, it takes a good 3 - 4 seconds before you are finally in top gear.
