Transmichigan lifetime

The transmission in my car was replaced with a rebuilt one in 2003 at 188K by the PO. The first owner was a real estate sales firm and the second a little old lady (she got stuck with the bill, over $2000. No idea whether anyone was physically abusive to the transmission. Others here have suggested that 200K is about where many M-B trannys require a rebuild.
