Well, I guess I cant accurately judge the amount of play. Here's a picture of the little oil slick I found in the turbo when I opened. Maybe I'll put it back together and have someone familiar with turbos check the play.
Can I be at least 99% sure that 6 cylinders producing 375#s pressure in a cold compression test would rule out any cylinder ovaling/rod problems?
