There is a large latch assembly in the tailgate with what I consider a weak point. The receiver for the chrome latch handle breaks. See the attached pictures of a good and bad unit. It's a bit of a wrestling match to replace the unit. Unless you have the third seat option and kids who want to sit in back I would think it's not that urgent to replace.
