I will be joining the family and friends for a turkey deep-fryathon. Usually about 20 people so we deep-fry 2 turkeys for the dinner. No use in wasting all that oil on just 2 lousy birds. All the families usually bring a bird along to deep-fry for home. Last year we did 5. This year perhaps we will beat that record with 6.

We usually inject the birds with olive oil and garlic marinade. Takes lots of fresh garlic, a quart of olive oil, blend, and soak overnight. The next day the oil will be nicely seperated and infused with garlic. Give that bird several large injections. Yummy!
