Good Job
I was in Air Force from 1980-84. I was on a KC-135 crew (gas station in the sky). You will enjoy the Air Force since service ppl around multi-million dollar equipment are treated very nicely. The base facilities are immaculate and the food is outta this world good. We had 4 chow times ranging from breakfast to midnight chow. We didnt have rifles and we only ran one mile once a year...LOL
All Air Force recruits, whether enlisted or commissioned, are trained at Lackland AFB, in San Antonio, Texas. This means try to take basic training during cooler times.
During training, keep a low profile and dont volunteer for anything at anytime. When you get outta basic, the real Air Force will be quite different than you perceived it to be in basic....and thats good.
If you are on a flight crew, there will be the training exercises (RED FLAG) and the TDY (temporary duty stations) will keep you from becoming bored. Very positive experience. Good Luck
