Now the AC fan has stopped working. There isn't a relay that works the AC fan and the aux. fans is there? The AC fan has been dying a slow death I think so I don't think they're related.

I'm not an expert, but low a/c pressure could be your problem. When the refrigerant is too low, a switch prevents the compressor from running to prevent it from burning itself up. A/C pressure is also what tells the low speed fan to come on.
I think they're related.
But then again, I'm just an armchair mechanic.
