My M119 runs around 80, until she goes into"limp-home" mode, at which point the temp rises closer to 100C.
So I would pull the codes from the ECU and see if anything inside the engine isn't working as it should.
But the radiator cap is the first thing to try. I have seen (in my 300SD) an almost 20C drop with a new rad cap.
