Old Flashlights............Anyone?
Over the years I have purchased a few older flashlights, most found at estate sales(garage sales). The latest one was a real find, I think. It is the big red one in the center. Pictures attached.
It is a Fairbanks, Morse & Co. Model G-10482. Someone has scratched "UPRR" on it. I am assuming that stands for Union Pacific RailRoad. I have done extensive searches on the internet for any information I could find on this flashlight with no luck.
Of course the lamp is burned out and I have had no luck in finding a replacement for that either. The lamp is a GE 1597. I was also looking for the origional battery if it is still made. I can always adapt batteries when I find a bulb.
Any old railroaders here?
Not bad for three bucks. That is if I can find a bulb!
