If you are absolutely positive that there are no air bubbles coming up from the lift pump to the spin on filter (the one on the far right when standing infront of the car and facing the engine) then it might be that one of the seals on the spin on filter is bad or you have not tightened it enough. Are you positive that the O-rings on the bolt that holds the spin-on filter to the housing have not been damaged?
