Okay, been curious about this... Can a Garrett turbo on a 1985 617 block be adjusted? I've been told by fellow enthusiasts that it can. Easily no less. However, when asking two professional MB Certified mechanics, they both said no! I did a search on the subject, turns out it can? Stu Ritter posted a how to... Is turbo adjustment actually done? Is it recommended as safe? Or is it not supposed to be done, hence professionals don't even do it? Please advise.
