From what I read most units on ebay are junk and that the lighting is not as good as stock. Here is what I know:

Most are made in Taiwan, leak(get water inside) so you have to reseal once you get them with RTV silicone. Next the projector is a 2.5 and some members have removed the 2.5 projector with a projector from a 2003+ 210 stock headlight to get a better light pattern and larger pattern from the light.

Some other members just go all out and buy xenon units, parting together the ballasts, headlight unit, projector to get the new look so it is oem or close to.

Was a member building the better headlights as a hobby, but he quit after 25 units. The projector ungrade required heating the lights to soften things up to mend to fit.

I agree that projectors are great, but I am not ready to buy a set, rtv it, bake it in an oven to put another projector in etc.

I will live with H7 bulbs and my stock units for now. Besides you are looking from $500 to 1200 in parts to upgrade. I will throw that money toward my future E55....which should have a good light source.
