Thanks, Jeremy!! You answered my question.... I assume you get to the "CCU" by taking off the wood grain cover and whatever's behind it? Now I am curious about this... soldering should not be that difficult but I gotta see what I'm dealing with. I am well equipped with soldering tools.

It would be a good weekend project if I can remove the Unit.
