If you pull the under dash panel so you can get to everything from underneath you should be able to do it. Also you have to do is find a good ground spot, there is a ground wire harness right behind the cluster so that would work if you can get to it. This is how I found a bad ground in my cluster that was keeping the GP light from comming on.

as a matter of fact I did notice the GP light stopped working too..... sounds like you might be on to something.. can I just run a ground to the metal and be done if that works?
