I think if it's a belief that you allow to be transplanted onto you and then you squeeze your eyes shut as tight as you can (Pat Robertson) in an attempt to believe it, that's lost in space land.

If something arises in your mind, and you can't explain it, and then just stay open to new stuff, more interesting forms of "religion" can open up.

Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is within you. Sort of a Buddhist way of looking at things also. Heaven and hell are states of mind, perhaps.

On reincarnation, who knows? That we're asking the question is pretty mysterious all by itself.
