They may be over-designed, but man when they work they work great! I drove about 100 miles today and it was kinda nasty for South Texas, cloudy, semi-cold , and windy. After I finally got the temp setting dialed in, the auto function was just so nice and held the perfect temperture. My "modern" Impala requires constant temp control adjustment and fan speed switching to remain in the comfort zone....the MD just did it all, all by itself! Neat old cars!

This TD has the best heater, that thing will throw 125 degree air outta the center vents...it'll roast you like a chicken!
