I think the XD is Croatian built, which is not a big issue, but as I recall, the lockwork is set up as a variation on the Glock, with a 2-stage trigger of some sort, not a proper single action set up. I seem to recall it has no manual safety because of the 2nd little trigger. Condition 1, cocked and locked carry is my preference.
