cjlipps: i have looked at the glock and at one time was the one i was dead set on. im not sure what it is but there is somthing about the xd that draws me in. dont ask me why, but i have always wanted a 45. im not really concered about mag. capacity because the less it holds the longer it will take me to shoot a box of ammo. that why my rifle is bolt action and my shotgun is pump. i realize 22 is ALOT cheaper to shoot than any other caliber, that what my rifle is and why i buy 500+ rounds at a time for it. i only plan to shoot a box(50) of the 45 when i go shooting. i still plan to buy the 9mm later on. ill have to go compare a few guns. me and my buddy are gonna go lookin. hes looking for a 9mm for his wife to carry. keep the suggestions comming. thanks for all the responses
