The trucker was the one who got screwed in my case--the agent looked at his contract and told him he only needed bobtail. The trucker hit a kid in a belly dumper with a load of gravel in it and he looked to his contractor. Contractor turned to truckers carrier. Carrier issued a ROR and trucker got a $2M judgment against him that exceeded his coverage by $1.9M.
I am sympathetic to the trucker--don't worry.
