Cadillac is finally making an attempt to attract a younger demographic with some product that you don't have to be dead to ride inside. The CTS would have greater appeal in the snowbelt if they offered it in all-wheel-drive guise. Since 1996, the deVille, courtesy of Northstar, actually has enough power to be entertaining, at least in a straight line. I drove a 2006 STS+4 last year, and while it didn't make me want to forget about S-Classes or 7-series, it is probably great competiton against a loaded Audi A6 4.2.

I once raced against a Northstar STS in a BMW 740iL. The BMW had it's work cut out for it.
