Copper and veggie oil dont mix?

What do you mean by a huge mess? I made my own kit with a 3/4" copper coil that used the coolant to heat a 3/8" copper fuel line with oil inside it. I never had a problem with it and after a year and a half the system still works! What has been your experience with copper and veggie oil? Does it make it froth?
