I HATE GLOCKS! They are just ugly plastic crap to me. Now, having said that and PO'ed all the Glock guys, let me also say this...even though I hate them, every one I have ever picked up actually felt good in my hand and shot good too!
The best advice so far, go shoot a bunch of different pistols. Then buy the one YOU like the best.

I found I couldn't stand the 1911s and in spite of that, tried to rent one to get used to it. Waste of money. Could shoot it but didn't like it.
So it shot good and felt good but you hate it?

I get a gun I can shoot comfortably and accurately which is the most important thing.
I second that
