OK - here goes:
A1 - Power steering pump
A2 - unknown - possibly oil pump
A3 - Transmission Bowden cable - should attach to the throttle linkage - controls transmission upshift points.
A4 - Vacuum signal for transmission upshift delay. This causes the tranny to hold the first shift a bit when the weather is cold and the car is first started up - supposed to help heat the catalysts faster. Far as I know, this can be capped at the transmission without issue.
A5 - Manifold vacuum to transmission modulator
A6 - some sort of pump - others will know what this is.
A7 - Oil filter
A8 - engine wiring harness
A9 - unknown - where does this pipe connect to on the engine - block or intake? It looks like there used to be a plastic hose on the end - possibly this is high-demand vacuum source for things like power brake booster - this engine came from a RHD car, correct?
A10 - I think this is engine coolant to heater cores or other destinations.
A11 - Same as A9 - if it connects to the intake, it's probably vacuum source for something.
A12 - Also coolant source for something??
As far as I know, these motors do not have dry sump - but I could be completely wrong.
EDIT - WOW - Poole posted his reply as I was crafting mine. I did pretty good concerning I've never seen the underhood of one of these cars. Completly missed on the CC actuator.
