Best case sceanrio is new valves/guides/seals, and the head needs to come off for that. Worse case is burned piston/broken pistons, and the head has to come off for that, too.

What's the best "how-to" type manual for pulling a head? Are there any articles on here or another friendly website that gives instructions on how to do it. I've done engines before, but not been that far into a Benz Diesel. There's a DVD on Ebay that says they give a step-by-step instrution, but it's $80 or something high like that.
