What is the typical temperature inside the engine compartment of a car e.g. W124 ? I am looking to insulate the wiring harness to prevent shorting and grounding problems. I am thinking of using heat shrink tubing or something similar but not sure if it can withstand the heat. Anyone dealt with this issue before? how do u go about it?
