Now as I sit here and type, I realize I have not verified that the hose is free and clear of blockage. That probably should be my next box to check. I was assuming the engine couldn't burn the oily air coming out of the engine. I was planning on routing that air down to the bottom of the engine bay and gone, but I guess I should check the hose for blockage first.
