Sorry. After the “junk science” thread, I couldn’t resist.
Hope it all clears out soon. I haven’t been watching that area, but will drop into Port Hadlock next week for two days. Wood boat thing. Love that place.
Hope all is well with everything else up there, 79-240D. Hope you can get that roof fixed before the snows sit on it. Good luck to ya. Stay warm and Merry Christmas.

Port Hadlock!

I think I found it on the map. Near Whidbey Island, last report I saw on the news about that area is no power and it could be a considerable amount of time until is restored. Whidbey Island is inland of the mouth of the Straight of Juan De Fuca, ground zero! I would advise you to check the status of anywhere in western Washington prior to leaving.
I almost finished fixing my roof and am just now finishing dinner. I got a chance to watch the news. My little adventure with this storm is not the norm. The damage is widespread and in some areas power will not be restored for 7 to 10 days. There are soooooo many trees down that power crews are spending more time removing trees than fixing power lines.
I consider myself to be very lucky. We seem to have dodged serious damage.
