oh man. i got killed on this. i took it to the shop. i called ahead, and they said they had one on their parts car. so, i figured itd be reasonably cheap. but, when the car was done, they said the list price on just the magnet was, like, $300+, but that they would charge me $175 for just the part, and then, like, an additional $50 to "install" it. in my opinion, taking this piece out of an old car, putting it into a new one, and testing it should take a max of about 10 minutes. i asked why it was so much, citing the fact that an entire monovalve costs less than that. his answer was that to just buy the magnet part was more expensive. doesnt sound above the level to me. this was a killer misake.
