You will find MB does not do hog rings, they have an inverted lip that the material pushes into with a stiffening ring. They also use some plastic ties to hold the cushion onto the springs in the frame

Thanks for the input. I will try to find out who mercedes is using here locally for their upholstery needs. However, I'm guessing it shouldnt be that bad of a job. I'm only looking to replace the pad if not the spring case .
