OK thanks...man I was worried the engine was going to die on me.

That pic is not the IM, its the head looking down into cylinder with IM removed. If I did brush that out it'd go right into cylinder...prob not good thing. I left it as is, engine seems happy enough.

I just wonder if all the gunk would rob power. As for italien tune-ups...she will pull 115mph with accelerator only 3/4 way down. So its not lacking for power.

I just wonder if burning WVO is going to be bad with this much soot already in there?
