With both films the audience didn't leave 'till the end titles were done, you don't see that often happen anymore.

The audience reaction was the same when I saw Flags. I read the book and thought Eastwood was pretty true to the story as written.
The view of the other side of the battle will be interesting I'm sure. Those soldiers knew they weren't leaving the island.
