OK, a quick update. The ebay seller was able to track down the cam towers and the camshaft from the head that I had previously purchased from him and sent them both to me today. So now I have the head and the camshaft and cam towers. Everything seems in very good shape - I don't think the head has been milled - with my micrometer it is measuring about where a new head would measure - approx 84.8 mm.

The camshaft and towers look good - my question is do I use my old camshaft with the new towers? I'm not real sure which parts wear together and should be replaced together. The new head did not come with any of the rocker arms, but did come with all the springs and cam followers/lifters and valves still installed.

I haven't yet pulled the head - I'm still getting around to it - going to check the compression and do a leak down test first.
