Sorry guys! I'm from England and our designations are a little different. I brought my service books with me when I came here in 1980! We still spell tire, tyre and this is how my books are written. I still refer to the hood as the bonnet and the trunk as the boot and diesel as parrafin! I know that in England, one could order a E300D OOPS, 300D with the manual climate control system like the 240. I guess that was never an option on this side of the pond?
