I have a massive PS leak at my steering box also, but I have a 85' W126. I have a thread about it here somewhere. Not sure if your problems is the same as mine though.

I am actually supposed to be taking mine to the shop tomorrow. The seals were $22. and he is going to charge $30. to replace them.

I just hope that when he gets in there that it does not turn out to be more severe.
