fast enough...for now

When I first test drove the car 4 months ago, without any repair work (driveshaft bearing, valves, front end bushings, etc) I had it up to 95 ish. It still had more but I didnt feel like breaking it at that speed, especially with the previous owner in the car...and the front end shaking so violently. The trail of black smoke was awesome. The car hadnt been blown open like that ever, probably as 70 year old women dont drive that fast normally.
That was on 95 North around Medford, Ma. There were lots of cops but lots of other cars going 95, too.

So if there is a limiting final drive at 3.69, what is the solution to better highway speed driving? A longer 4th gear? 3.25 or so or should I start looking for a manual 5 speed? (do they even exist for this car?)
