first thing to do with a CIS car is to use a pressure gauge and look at operating conditions. Find a mechanic with CIS experience.

You will likely need a warm up/ enrichment compensator. You can get a used one for about 30$. You can get a factory new one for a lot of money, or you can click on the various "UT Unwired Tools" flashing icons at the top of this page. Their unit is a quality replacement part for the factory unit and less expensive (half the price or so). However, I can't give you advice about its installation and tuning. I do know that 6.9 owners that have used it have raved about the result.
